An abandoned kitten, found by a police officer and taken to a Pennsylvania rescue group, may lose his leg because someone wrapped a rubber band around his limb, cutting off circulation. According to Frankie’s Friends Cat Rescue, the kitten, dubbed Vic, was found in Brackenridge and it is surmised that the band was put around his leg intentionally.
The rescue agency writes:
It was in terrible pain and we soon found out why. A rubber band was found to be tightly wrapped around his leg. This caused poor circulation, pain and infection. We are looking for any information that the public may have regarding this. We feel this was an intentional act of cruelty and harm
Every effort is being made to save Vic’s leg, but he is not yet out of the woods.
