A reward has been offered after the discovery of an extremely emaciated and injured dog in Indianola, Iowa. The Humane Society of the United States is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the condition of the dog, who has been dubbed Benji.

Benji, who appears to be a German shepherd, was picked up as a stray on October 20. Warren County Animal Services found the dog wandering on a rural property by the owner of a property on the 13000 block of 118 Avenue outside Indianola, just south of the Indianola Dog Park.

The dog is in pitiful condition – he was found severely emaciated and suffering from pressure sores and other skin conditions. Benji is currently recovering at Kiya Koda Humane Society. On Oct. 22, the animal welfare agency wrote:

We are needing help. This sweet soul is named Benji and he was found Sunday in Warren County. We believe Benji is a male German Shepherd. Benji appears to have been abused, neglected and from his feet deformities and pressure sores living in a very small cage with little room to move. He is completely emaciated and covered in yeast. With all that he has been through, he is still loving and trusting during his wound dressing changes and medicated baths.

Anyone with information about this situation is asked to reach out to the Warren County Sheriff’s Department at 515-961-1122. Find the Kiya Koda Humane Society on Facebook here.

Iowa MUST be so PROUD of ALL the egregious animal abuse and torture that comes from this putrid state FULL of rapists and violent thugs drooling with perverted excitement as they pummel and RAPE factory farmed animals with impunity. These freaks ALLOW factory farms to POUR MILLIONS of gallons of putrid pollution into their OWN waterways and do NOTHING when these torture chambers RUIN neighboring farms and homes. Propping up the RACIST PEDOPHILE Jim Jordan makes it VERY CLEAR they don’t even care about their own boys being REPEATEDLY sexually assaulted, while trying to be an athlete. I hope numerous sinkholes, tornadoes and floods will find its way to cleansing this state of PERPETUAL ASSAULT ON ALL LIVING BEINGS! And they profess to be Christians…uh, folks Jesus WOULD NEVER DO OR ALLOW WHAT you perpetuate, so YOU are NOT Christians, but simply puppets for the Devil’s agenda.
