A California man, legally known by the name of Sexy Vegan, is facing charges for sexual assault of a dog. As reported by KHTS News, the 37-year-old man, formerly known as Hansel Marion DeBartolo III, was arrested after the authorities investigated a damning social media post on Sept. 5 showing a sexual acts with a pit bull.
Shirley Miller, spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station, stated:
“Detectives found a video on social media of the suspect performing an act of bestiality.”
Officials with the Los Angeles County Department of Animal Care and Control took two dogs from the man’s residence. He is charged with a misdemeanor count each of sexual assault on an animal and posting obscene matter.
Sexy Vegan informed the authorities that his occupation is a 2020 presidential candidate, though there are is no information to support his claim. The man has been on the Dr. Phil show twice, reports KHTS. The news agency stated that the first show was titled, “My Brother Changed His Name to ‘Sexy Vegan,’ Wears Speedos in Public and is Spending My Mom’s $11 Million Inheritance.”
According to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, Vegan is due back in court on Oct. 10.
