A grievously injured puppy, discovered near Atlanta, Georgia, is recuperating after suffering from what appears to be horrific cruelty. The mixed breed puppy, just nine weeks of age, was found by a good Samaritan who explains the extent of his injuries:

I found a badly injured little puppy today. He seems to have been burned on his paws and stabbed or maybe thrown out the window of a moving car, hard to tell and I guess we’ll never know what this poor pup has been through. He is in desperate need of medical care.

The pup was taken to Village Vets of Buckhead – an update on his GoFundMe fundraiser provides the veterinarian’s evaluation:

He may have had acid dumped on him or been set on fire in addition to the other injuries. The vet said he has multiple traumas, some new and some older. He has necrosis of the skin from all his traumas and will likely need surgery.

Funds have been raised to help this abuse victim recover and he appears to be making strides towards just that. The most recent update states:

On our way to recovery. This sweet guy is a champ! He has months of treatments and possibly surgery ahead of him but will fully recover…
Thank you for all the continued support and outreach for this little fighter…

  1. This handsome sweetheart is on a long long road to recovery. Just like “Bingo” he needs a “massive” amount of support. Both of these loving dogs have GoFundMe pages.
