Authorities in Butler County, Ohio, are seeking information about a person who is caught on video abusing a dog. The Butler County Sheriff’s Office issued a release about the cruelty case on Tuesday, recounting what is known about the case:
We need your help in identifying this subject. The face is hard to identify but maybe someone can ID the clothing or the subject may be recognizable if you know them. The person you see in the lower part of the video is the home owner and came out yelling at the subject, that’s when he fled. This video is from the homeowner’s surveillance camera.
The video shows a person throwing an object at a small dog and then swinging the dog by a leash and slamming it to the ground. The authorities state that the dog followed the individual out of the yard after the suspect was confronted by the homeowner.
