Leonard’s Tweet reads:
Our baby Bella is gone to a better place now. 2/18/13 – 12/25/17. I’m not sure words could ever describe how much you meant to us. You were truly an amazing dog that brought us nothing but pure joy and happiness. We will love you forever Bella. RIP baby girl.

News of Bella’s passing has brought a deluge of messages from fans as well as from Leonard’s team, the Trail Blazers.
The team’s center acknowledged the well wishes in a subsequent Tweet:
To everyone who has reached out to Elle and I – Thank you so much for your kind words and prayers. Bella was truly an amazing dog that we will always remember. We were so lucky to have her in our lives. Thanks again everyone, it really means a lot.
Rest in peace Bella.
