A disturbing discovery was made inside of a condemned house in Bridgeville, Pennsylvania. According to Monday’s WPXI News, an emaciated dog, so starved that he is little more than skin and bones, was found by the local authorities.
The brown mixed breed dog has been dubbed “Cory,” and he is now in the care of Animal Friends in the North Hills. Cory was in such dismal condition by the time that he was rescued that he was too weak to walk and he required two blood transfusions.
Cory is slowly putting on weight and he will not be available for adoption until he has recuperated from his starved condition. No word on whether or not anyone will be charged for this dog’s pitiful state of health.
