Officials in Livingston County, New York, are hoping to find out who is responsible for abandoning a pit bull along Interstate 390. On February 21, the Livingston County Animal Control posted a photo of the dark gray and white dog, along with a request to help find her owner:
Hey there, does anyone recognize me? I’m a female pittie approximately 2-4 years. A good Samaritan took me to the Dansville Animal Hospital after I was found tied to the guardrail on 390 just north of exit 4.
According to the animal welfare agency, the dog does not have any injuries, and though she does have an implanted microchip, there is no information on it.
Information needed
Anyone who recognizes this dog is asked to reach out to the Livingston County Dog Control at 585-243-6740
