Sweet ‘Igloo’ left chained outside with open wounds in St. Louis’ dangerous weather

Thanks to Stray Rescue of St. Louis, this undernourished sweet pup dubbed Igloo, is safe and warm and out of the dangerously frigid weather. Sadly, Igloo had been left chained outdoors. How could a dog so skinny with open wounds ever survive without help?

Igloo was found earlier today chained up; no one was around, and no one knew to whom he belonged.

Rescuers described there had been no better feeling today than when they cut the chain. The dog eagerly jumped into the warm Jeep for an exciting ride towards his new life. If anyone tries to claim him with an excuse as to why he was outside, the organization will press charges.

PLEASE bring your pets inside; there is not one reason to make this an excusable deed.

Igloo is one lucky pooch. His rescuers promise to help him gain weight with delicious and healthy meals and heal his wounds. Someone lucky will soon offer to foster him until he finds his “furever” home. The staff promises he will never be treated as if he was an old, disposable couch.

He will never be lonely, hungry or suffer again nor will anyone put him on a chain.

The best way to properly introduce Igloo is to check out his adorable video with Cassady. If you are already falling in love with Igloo, please contact Stray Rescue of St. Louis. We promise they will listen to you and be part of “chatting this adorable pooch up” getting ready to be loved.
