In Florham Park, New Jersey, a three-month-old puppy that had been inside of a car parked in a CVS parking lot has been found safe and reunited with his family. The puppy had been left in the car with the heat on while the owner ran into the store for her prescription.
Just moments later, someone stole the BMW even though the owner, Jaclyn Katz had the key and her phone. It had been on Monday evening when the puppy had been in the stolen vehicle; the car was tracked to Newark where the GPS had been disabled.
The Labradoodle puppy named Bauer was spotted on the side of the road on Highway 78 near the Newark International Airport.
Fortunately, the reunion has a happy ending as Bauer is safe and not harmed and reunited with his family. Katz said she had decided to take the puppy with her to the drug store after her husband and son had left for a hockey game. Bauer still doesn’t like to be alone.
Please – never leave your pet alone in a vehicle.
