At the Greene County Animal Shelter of Virginia, Brisa is losing hope of finding a family; she is a good girl, and she deserves a loving home.
Over the Christmas holiday, Brisa, who loves toys, received a new Jolly Ball, and although there is no doubt the toy brought her joy, she is still lonely and patiently waits for someone to love her. According to shelter notes, she would do best in a home where she is the only pet.
Brisa arrived at the shelter back in July 2025 after she and her puppies were surrendered. Brisa had been chasing the neighborhood cats and chickens. Described as a Labrador retriever and a poodle blend, she had been reactive when meeting other dogs. The shelter staff feels she had at least two litters of puppies in her life, had become frustrated and nervous and wants to look forward to a life of her own.
Brisa needs a family who will continue to work with her and let her know how special she is.
With people however, Brisa is the most loving dog one would ever want to meet one on one. She was a young mom, and it seems she just wants to be the only dog now. She truly needs a family who has no other pets and could give her the best home ever.

She is a gorgeous young girl girl who would make a family a great addition if she could be their one and only pet.
Brisa is playful, loves to go on walks and keeps her kennel clean. She deserves someone to give her a chance.
Please share with your friends in hopes an animal free home would love to change a very sweet lovable girl’s life. Brisa could use some love.
