West Blackstock Road in Spartanburg, South Carolina is both a suburban commercial and residential area. Who would have ever expected to see a poodle in the most defeated and neglected condition walking along the road trying to scavenge around for something to eat?

According to Carolina Poodle Rescue, Sarah, a Good Samaritan from Canada, spent an hour coaxing the dog into her car. The next morning she contacted the rescue for help.

The dog is safe now and receiving emergency medical care. He had no collar and is not microchipped.

Very rough shape, matted to the skin and emaciated. Devouring food that is offered.

The dog remains on a five day stray hold.

If you can identify this dog, please email info@ carolinapoodlerescue.org. Proof of ownership will be required.

Please share this dog’s story; let’s help to find her a better situation and why she is in such terrible condition.
