Double team chihuahuas save Shih Tzu pal from coyote attack

In a happy ending for the family Shih Tzu, two very brave chihuahuas came running to the little guy’s rescue when a coyote approached thinking the dog would make a tasty meal.

Ring camera footage captured the two chihuahuas running after the coyote that had attacked their Shih Tzu pal in their Chandler, Arizona backyard. The coyote can be seen on top of the fence and then pouncing on the Shih Tzu in the left side of the yard. The pup can be heard screaming as the coyote bites him repeatedly.

Angel, the Shih Tzu, had four puncture wounds, including one that was near her jugular vein.

And then to the rescue – the old adage “small but mighty” certainly stood true, as the two chihuahuas barked furiously and chased the coyote away.

Watch it run away.

Angel is expected to make a full recovery.

Congratulations to these two canine heroes.
