In an emergency situation in Ashdown, Arkansas, the Animal Rescue Corps (ARC) initiated Operation Broken Ties, in order to rescue 51 dogs from the closing rescue operation of A&B Animal Rescue of SW Arkansas amid a nasty divorce.

Following a court order, the dogs were surrendered on Saturday as collateral damage in the bitter marital conflict, with some of the dogs having been in limbo since 2015. The dogs had been living in poor conditions.

At least two dogs appeared to be emaciated. One dog named Yoshi had been at the rescue since 2015; still waiting to be adopted.

According to rescuers and the information provided, some of the dogs had been living in the awful condition for years.

This is ARC’s fourth large scale rescue operation in the last six-and-a-half weeks. The team has been providing urgent care and working to provide the dogs with the medical care, support and love they all deserve.

Here they all are:

Please donate today to help ARC rescue them and keep responding when animals have nowhere else to turn.
