In Charlotte, North Carolina, a family’s precious French bulldog named Julio is still missing after more than a month when he was allegedly stolen. The six-year-old dog had been inside of a car stolen from the Alta Croft apartments on April 6.

According to Julio’s owner, Jayla Gittens, it had only been a few days later that her brother received a video with Julio in the background in another car. Five days later, Gittens got her car back, but Julio was missing.

Gittens had posters all over the area and asked people in the area to be on the lookout for Julio. Supposedly, one of the suspected dognapers responded in an online message that the dog would be returned after paying a ransom fee of $1,000.
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police charged a juvenile with stealing the car and personal property. Other juveniles had also been interviewed who are believed to know who stole Julio.

After numerous leads, on May 2, Kendra Hunter, 37, contacted Gittens showing a photo of Julio and stating the dog might have been with a French bulldog breeder. It had been Hunter’s son who had taken the photo including the dog in the background.

On May 13, Hunter was arrested and charged with possession of stolen property; she posted a $3,000 bond the next day.
Still there have been no sightings of Julio. Please check out the photos of this family’s precious pets and help them find their dog.
