Whoopie Pie; perhaps named because this sweetest dog can eat a burger in three delicious bites?

How to eat a burger in three bites, by Whoopie (as in Whoopie Pie).
2. Open wide.
3. Take BIG bites.
This adorable pooch arrived at the Humane Society of Richland County in Ohio after her owner went to jail, and instead of reaching out to help this delightful young dog find a new home, a family member brought her to a veterinarian to be euthanized.

Fortunately, it turned out to be a positive turn for Whoopie, since the vet refused. One week later, Whoopie was at the Humane Society of Richland County and adopted, but in less than 24 hours, Whoopie was back at the shelter.
Let’s not diss the adopters; they had the best intentions. As it turned out, Whoopie did great with her new family, but her bubbly enthusiasm was too much for one of the family’s young grandchildren. Whoopie jumped at her; and no she didn’t bite and the child was fine, but the family felt it best if Whoopie be in a home with no small children. After all, she is a big girl. These nice people were distraught – they repeatedly said Whoopie is a good girl.
Whoopie is only a year old, and she’s full of love and exuberance. This next time she would do better with a family who do not have any small children.

She seems totally fine around other animals.
She is an absolute ham, sweetheart, and a dream on a leash.
Well, it happened, and as the headline reflects – the “second time’s a charm.” Yes, indeed; a couple arrived, met Whoopie and fell in love.

It was love at first sight for Whoopie and this beautiful couple.
We couldn’t be happier…
Congratulations on finding your people, sweet girl!
Live a long and happy life Whoopie. You deserve the best.
