Loyal husky looks adoringly at owner while being surrendered to crowded animal shelter

A loyal and sweet husky named Luna was surrendered to the animal shelter SEAACA in Downey, California on November 13. Luna’s leash was turned over to the shelter employee, but Luna had no idea she wasn’t going home.

Sometimes the DUMPING is caught on camera by rescuers or networkers.

Surrendered pets are among the first ones humanely euthanized because of the severe overcrowding at county and city animal shelters. By no fault of her own, Luna’s life can end at anytime.

Sweet LUNA looks up at her mom that she loves and doesn’t know she has actually just given her a death sentence. Such a sweet and beautiful girl. She didn’t deserve this.

In the photo, Luna’s yellow Home Again microchip tag can be seen on her collar. Luna needs a loving home. In her intake photo, Luna sits perfectly, and has no idea her mother is handing her over.

She thinks her mom is coming back for her. No, sweet Luna you are NOT at doggie day care or at a vet, and your so called mom is NOT coming back for you.
