Frightened Oscar tried his best to catch up with the car that had dropped him off in Plantation, Florida over the weekend. An unidentified person left the dog alone in the parking lot of the Lakeside Animal Hospital.
Security cameras captured the driver of a black sedan opening the door and taking the dog out of the car and placing him on the ground of the parking lot. Then the person left.
The heartbreaking video shows how scared Oscar was as he chased after the car when it pulled out of the driveway. The dog tried to get back into the car but he was pushed away, and in his efforts to catch up to the car, Oscar ran out in to the busy street nearly getting struck by a passing vehicle.
The supervisor of Lakeside Animal Hospital, Estee Froehlich, was scared as she watched the close call. Luckily she was able to run out and save the dog and bring him inside of the animal hospital.

Oscar is now in the care of the animal hospital, and have announced the dog is now available for adoption.
