Some days just don’t work out as planned. Just recently a woman from Las Vegas needed help from the Las Vegas Fire Department to rescue not only her cat that had been stuck in the tree for the past four days, but her too! Yep, the cat’s owner was stuck too!

According to the Combined Communication Control, an emergency call had been received on April 16 concerning a woman stuck in a tree on North Jones Boulevard near West Lake Mead Boulevard. Rescue units were dispatched, and when they arrived, they spotted the woman about 10 feet up in the tree. The crew dispatched a ladder and were able to guide the woman down and rescue her cat as well.

Fortunately, this was a happy ending story, but residents are encouraged to ask for help with animal rescue emergencies rather than risk injury or even death.
