In Nashville, Tennessee, a kind couple on a Sunday walk in their neighborhood, helped to rescue a dog that had been chained to a moving vehicle.
According to the Nashville Noticias, Shelby and Adison Harvat spotted the dog on Skyridge Drive and wanted to help find the dog’s owner. Neighbors had joined in the search but had also received videos showing the dog having been dragged by a chain behind a vehicle.

The security videos captured footage showing a silver Nissan Altima driving up and down the road earlier the morning with the dog chained to the back of the car. The dog ran and at times seemed to having been dragged trying his best to keep up with the car.
Who does this:
The chain broke, and the dog was able to run away. That’s when the couple were slowly able to build trust with the dog. They brought him home, and he didn’t want to eat or drink. He was so frightened – his tail tucked tightly between his legs tried to hide. By the next day, however, the dog was feeling better, and his sweet personality began to emerge.
The couple notified Metro Animal Care and Control who arrived on Monday. Fortunately the dog had no physical injuries. At this time, the dog can not be adopted while a criminal investigation for alleged animal cruelty continues.
