At the Animal Friends of the Valleys located in Wildomar, California, two overweight sibling English bulldogs were found as strays wandering the lush wine country. When the two arrived at the shelter, it was quite apparent that both of them were way too chubby to be considered healthy, and after their official weigh in, it was time for the sisters to begin diets.

No one reached out to claim the girls, and they were soon placed on a mandatory stray hold – hoping their owners would return and reclaim them. (And maybe given some useful information to put the dogs on healthy diets so they could live longer.)
Just days later, the two sisters, named Rollie and Pollie were featured on the shelter’s Facebook page introducing the two and how they needed a safe and comfortable home – hopefully together, since the two seemed closely bonded.
As luck would have it, a family saw the two and went to the shelter to meet them. The meet and greet went well; the great news was shared on TikTok. Check this out:
Let’s give some other animals their happily “ever afters” – come down and check out our adoptable pets today!

We are ALL ecstatic for these two pups, but our job isn’t over yet. There are so many more dogs who are just as adorable and deserving, and you can make a difference. Please check out adoptable pets in your area, donate your time and money to help, foster a shelter dog or share their stories. It all counts and can make a difference.

Much love being sent to Rollie and Pollie.
