As heartless owners pushed handsome Malinois out of car dog grabbed her precious monkey stuffy

In Bakersfield, a witness reported a disturbing sight as she watched heartless owners push a beautiful Belgian Malinois out of their vehicle last month.

As one of the saddest stories rescuers encountered, the details got even worse:

Someone saw it happen, and they threw her monkey out of the car, and she grabbed it. When the rescuer came to help her, the dog didn’ t care about food. She cared about her stuffy!

The South Coast Humane Society saved her; they named her monkey. She has been in foster care for weeks to get her through kennel cough. She is described by her foster mom as the sweetest, most loving Malinois. Monkey is now in Oregon at the rescue organization and is ready to be adopted.

Through her recovery, it’s sad to say her monkey toy suffered irreparable damage. She was gifted another toy, but left it at her foster mom’s home. Now, it’s time Monkey found a new home, and wouldn’t it be fun to take her to the nearest Petco where she could pick out a new toy?
