In Raleigh, North Carolina, three emaciated puppies had been abandoned in a crate in a backyard where the owners had moved away. The severely emaciated three-month-old puppies had no food or water; temperatures last week when the puppies were discovered, hit 90 degrees.

Local rescue group, Perfectly Imperfect Pups (PIPs) Rescue is working to help the two surviving puppies; tragically one of the puppies died at the shelter. It is not known how long they had been left in the crate.

The puppies only weighed three to four pounds when found; puppies of the breed and bone structure should typically weigh 10 to 20 pounds at that age. They are currently in the care of a foster home and are slowly gaining weight, however they have been placed on a specific feeding schedule of small meals at a time, so as to avoid a condition called refeeding syndrome.

Lately it seems that North Carolina is vying with Texas as the MOST SADISTIC, EVIL state. Maybe Mother Nature can send them a strong warning with a couple of WHOPPER hurricanes back to back to remove some of these demons. Despicable freaks!
So where are the former “owners” and why doesn’t this story include their arrests?
