Kyler is a tiny dog who only weighs six-pounds, and he was abandoned; someone found him waiting on a street corner for his family to return in Lubbock, Texas. Who leaves a six-pound dog to fend for himself? We wish we had the answers.
The South Plains SPCA has been caring for Kyler, and this sad little chihuahua blend had been an emotional wreck, but kindness and patience have paid off.

Well, kyler was abandoned. he was sitting on a street corner, just defeated and alone. we are unsure about how long he was there and he was scared and unsure of if he would be hurt.
Tyler feels so much better since having been rescued, and now he has been described as one of the “most loveable” dogs in foster care. He loves to be cuddled and praised. Although he likely has had a hard life in his past, gentle reassurance gives him the courage he needs to look forward to a life full of happiness and adventure.

According to the staff, he is not aggressive at all and very laid back. He loves treats and playing with squeaky toys. he is kennel trained, and also feels quite at home relaxing in his “room” every once in awhile.
As with all dogs adopted from a shelter or brought into a new home, give him time to get used to new surroundings and new people. He is a very smart little guy and needs a loving family.
If you have a place in your home and heart, and the ability to make a difference in his life by giving him a loving and caring life he deserves, I encourage you to come meet him. He will be at adoptions from 11am to 2pm on Saturday at 8901 highway 87 building 119. If you truly want him, you need to be there early. His adoption fee is $175 and that includes all shots, neuter, microchip, heartworm negative test with monthly preventative.
