In Warwickshire, England, Hannah is the dog mom to a border collie named Sykes. Hannah often shares adorable video clips of her home business creating candles, planters and diffusers, but nothing beats the antics of one very clever pooch who just knows all the ins and outs of being irresistible.
No one in the family can stay angry at Sykes. and even though his mom says the pup rarely gets in trouble, the internet is more than delighted to witness a bit of naughtiness too.
Sykes has been a loved and valued member of the family since the birth of Hannah’s two children. As a puppy, she sent Sykes to obedience school to help him become a good canine citizen, and he’s proven himself over and over again; what a smart and wonderful part of the family he truly has become from the moment of his puppy arrival.

On July 21, a video posted on TikTok @ bibihomeshop by Hannah, shows Sykes lying on a bed, but his face reflects a very guilty pooch. Now a little foreshadowing for you – Hannah had already noticed the cold sausages left on the table were gone after a family picnic outdoors.
She had been clearing the table and as she went inside to do the dishes, the moment she returned to the dining table, she could tell he had done something wrong. She said he just stopped, wouldn’t look at her and slowly walked back into the house.
Now here’s a pup who lives to please and happens to be a very sensitive soul, so Hannah quietly approached him and asked him if some food from the table may have jumped off or fallen into his mouth?
Check out the video clip:
Did your heart melt just like mine did while I watched the clip?
was it an accident? Are you sorry? The lovely sorry paws? You were protecting us from the leftover sausages and burgers?
Sykes knows he needs a bit more puppy groveling and nuzzles into his mom.
well, thank you for your service.
Sometimes our dogs are very sensitive, but for the most part, they want to please, and do not hold grudges. Yes, sometimes we have to be the pet parent and remind them when they do something wrong. From the video, that garnered more than 62,000 views, no doubt Sykes knew he had been naughty, but his mom forgave him, and all was soon fine.
