In Charleston, South Carolina, police arrested Christopher James York, 38, on Thursday after alleging he shot his wife’s English bulldog to death because he was allergic to the dog and didn’t want the pet anymore.

According to the Charleston County News, York faces charges for ill treatment of animals. Authorities responded to a call on May 13 from a third party about the shooting death of a dog. Sgt. Chris Stinson, from the Charleston Police Department stated officers met a woman who stated her husband had just shot and killed her dog.

According to the woman, she had been inside of her home when she heard a “loud pop”. Moments later, the woman stated her husband told her, “Your dog is dead: I just shot him.” She ran out onto the porch and found her dying dog suffering from a fatal gun shot injury.

York was arrested and later released on a $25,000 personal recognizance bond.

  1. Women don’t NEED men anymore for anything because YOU HAVE FORCED US to learn how to survive without you via your abuse and abandonment, VERY STUPID. While men stand around scratching their smelly balls and wonder “why don’t women scurry for our favor like they used to?” Keep beating and raping us and our innocent children as you murder the family dog and VERY FEW OF YOU WILL BE MARRIED. PERIOD!
