In Jupiter, Florida, a bulldog named Brady is hoping to find a loving home. After all, this brave pup survived an attack by an alligator in a nearby canal. Sadly, Brady lost a leg in the fight for his life.

The attack occurred in May, and fortunately Brady had been found by a Good Samaritan who spotted the severely injured dog by a canal along Lake Worth Road. Veterinarians believe Brady had been suffering with the injury for at least a week before he was rescued; his front leg badly damaged, and his bone was exposed.
It had been Furry Friends Adoption, Clinic & Ranch who stepped up to help. Brady needed a blood transfusion after he was diagnosed anemic, and the dog had to get stronger before his mangled leg would have to be amputated. It had been the Brady Hunter Foundation and Rescue Life who helped with the cost of the extensive medical treatment Brady needed to survive his terrible ordeal.

Had not everything fit into place for Brady, this sweet dog might not have survived.
The American bulldog is now ready for a loving home – no more roaming around alone for this sweet pup. Please share his story and help find him the best home ever!

“Hello! My name is Brady. I am a tan and white American Bulldog mix around six years old and quite handsome. I came to Furry Friends with a massive injury to my front right arm which resulted in an amputation. I persevered through surgery and overcame tetanus. I am all healed up and ready for a family that will give me all the love I deserves and cherish me forever. I am missing my front right leg but but still enjoy short walks, meeting new people, and getting attention.”
