A local citizen discovered six newborn puppies last Sunday that had been sealed in a plastic bag in a wooded area of Caroline County, Virginia. The black and white puppies were saved from a certain death.

According to A Tail To Be Told Animal Rescue, located in Ladysmith, Virginia, volunteers have been working around the clock to care for the puppies. Sadly, one of the puppies had already died.

A lot of people including a very special person doing overnight care have been working around the clock to see the remaining five puppies grow up to be happy and healthy. Throwing away living beings like garbage is disgraceful and absolutely uncalled for and it happened right here in Caroline County.

According to WricNews, Allen Beach, a resident of Caroline County, had been dove hunting on Cedar Fork Road with a group of friends when he spotted the white trash bag 75 feet off the road. That morning the temperature was only 25 degrees. The puppies were rushed to Tina Perry, secretary and treasurer for A Tail to be Told, who said the puppies were stiff, and their body temperatures were very low.

Perry stuffed the puppies into her shirt to warm them up. The rescue is working with the Humane Society of Caroline County caring for the puppies.

For anyone who would like to donate towards the care of these sweet babies you can do so here. The puppy who died is in Heaven. Their life mattered and I hope they will get justice for their murder……
