At the Austin Animal Center, Leo’s photo on Facebook Thursday afternoon showed him sitting amid an expansive feather puddle, however the dog denied any involvement.

I was minding my own business and this pillow just exploded! Honest

Who can help but smile at Leo – especially the part of his photo that shows a feather on his nose? Yet, Leo seems to think that he was framed, and this photo might have been staged to make him look guilty. After all, Leo has been waiting patiently for a family to adopt him, and perhaps other dogs in the same situation wishing for their new homes, framed him?

It just exploded. let’s just be glad no one was hurt.

So let’s talk about Leo’s good points. He is described as “beyond sweet” and is always calm and quiet in his kennel. His previous family stated he rarely barked.

As for his energy level, Leo enjoys play time and adventures, but he is perfectly content to lie around and relax. He is very smart; he knows how to sit, shake and is more than willing to learn more commands with a loving family.

Leo is a sensitive fella, so new people and places can be scary, but he is easily won over with treats and patience. Once he feels safe with you, he shows off how playful and affectionate he can be. The way his ears perk up when he sees a friend and his adorable little tail wags and booty wiggles are so worth the process of earning his trust!

Adopets

Leo had been paired with another dog for awhile, who had a similar energy level, so being the only dog in a household might not be a requirement. He would need a meet and greet with any other dogs in the home, but if someone wanted one dog, it would be perfect.

Little children can be a bit too stressful for Leo – older kids are preferred.
