Elk at Yellowstone National Park teaches obnoxious tourist lesson ‘you wanna fight?’

A rather clever elk at Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming had no hesitation getting even, when faced with an obnoxious tourist who thought he could intimidate the animal on a highway.

And as two tourists stopped their vehicle as an elk casually had been crossing the road, the man yelled out:

Watch out buddy. You wanna fight?

Meanwhile, it’s quite obvious the elk had become agitated and stood in front of the vehicle with absolutely no intentions of leaving, but the tourist just had to “poke the bear” or rather just continued to inch closer telling the animal to move.

Well, that was not going to be, and the bull elk decided it was time to express how he really felt about the harangue aimed towards him in his own front yard. The elk lowered his head and aimed its antlers into the vehicle’s front tire – guess what? Yep, big puncture holes and a definite flat tire! A woman in the vehicle shouted out a profanity, and the video ended.

The K2 Radio posted the story, even though the incident occurred months ago, and on Tuesday, Deby Dixon, a photographer who specializes in Yellowstone wildlife, shared the post on social media as a reminder how distasteful it is for park visitors to taunt wildlife. Unfortunately, many animals and tourists have been injured – and killed, because people can’t keep their distance or show their respect.
