After three weeks of having been missing outdoors during a snowstorm in Big Bear, the lost dog has been reunited with her family.

According to the dog’s owner Lizbeth Berzinski, on February 7, her dog named Marlee jumped out of the back window of their vehicle after an accident. Their car had skidded on black ice and crashed. Marlee ran off around Tulip Lane and Big Bear Boulevard. The dog had later been spotted running past the city hall.

She’s very friendly. it was her first time in the snow. She does not have her collar or harness on, but she is chipped. I do not live in Big bear which makes this so much more difficult. Any news anything please msg me!

Lizbeth had adopted Marlee two years prior, and the two quickly became best friends.

The family placed fliers searching for Marlee everywhere, describing her as a very friendly dog who loved people. Photos and a description of the brindle boxer – “colors are black, brown and white. Full tail, brown eyes, droopy ears, no collar. She is chipped.” For more info or to contact Marlee’s owner, click here: https://www.pawboost.com/p/8759984 Lost or found a pet? And then this happened! Marlee had been spotted on a “Ring” surveillance video camera outside of a family’s home. The family posted the dog’s photo to social media, and the video showed the dog coming to the house every night to eat the food left outside.

It had been Jenny Shelton’s home that Marlee had been visiting nightly, and it was Jenny’s son, James who was able to capture the dog and reunite her with her family.

OUR BABYGIRL HAS BEEN FOUND. thank you so much Jenny Shelton and your son James!! I cannot thank you enough for all your hard work and being so generous in this hard time.

Whoever thought that Marlee, who had never experienced snow before – much less blizzard conditions, for 19 days could survive?

Against all odds, Marlee made it and now is home. Whatagirl!
