In Pinal County, Arizona, an San Manuel resident was surprised after returning home from work on Tuesday and finding a bobcat snuggled in a doggie bed.

According to the The Arizona Game and Fish Department, who posted photos of the bobcat looking mighty comfortable inside of the San Manuel residence, it is suspected, the clever kitty gained entrance through the doggie door to avoid the heat of the day.

The wild animal managed to escape before an officer arrived to remove him.

The Arizona Game and Fish Department do want to warn people not to try and handle trapped or injured wildlife. Anyone who finds a wild animal in their home, please contact AZgFD at 623.236.7201.

Please remember – as cute and cuddly as they may look in photos, these are wild animals who can inflict nasty injuries if cornered or in fear of their own safety.
