A young dog named Fiona has spent half of her life living in the kennel run of an animal shelter in Orange, Texas. The year-old dog was taken in at the City of Orange animal control six months ago…but she is still there, existing nearly invisibly.
The Saving Houston Shelter Pets Facebook page writes:
Fiona came into the shelter alone 6 months ago. No one has noticed her because no one knows she’s there. It’s a small shelter and Fiona has not had any networking.
According to the networking post, Fiona is up-to-date on her vaccinations, heartworm negative, and dog friendly. Fiona is essentially a puppy – yet she has had no time or freedom to enjoy her puppyhood. Fiona deserves to be living with a family who will play with her, care for her, and most of all, love her.
