A viral video has many dog lovers admitting “we don’t deserve dogs.” As a yellow Labrador retriever approaches a homeless man sitting alone on the street, it only took seconds for the dog to hug and cuddle the man. Both the pooch and the dog snuggled each other – and we are all convinced they both needed each other for those very important life moments.
The video was shared on Twitter by user Buitengebien on December 30 and has garnered nearly 0.5 million views and more than 48,000 likes.
The reaction after viewing the brief video brought tears to the internet’s eyes with a double message to start off the new year; homeless people need love and affection and dogs are intuitively programmed to be kind and show love.
