A woman in Biloxi, Mississippi, is desperate to find her missing Great Dane, Artemis, who has been gone for nearly a month. The dog’s owner, Charmayne Merrill, has put up hundreds of fliers in the area, and she even got a billboard to help raise awareness about her lost companion.
Merrill tells WLOX News:
“Pretty much the worst twenty five days of my life,” said Merrill. “I haven’t slept, eaten…working has been excruciating. We’ve been really lucky to have so many people help us. A good friend of mine’s mom — Denise McGill — has spent every day in the woods with us. She even spent her birthday walking powerlines in ninety five degree heat.”
Artemis weighs 140 pounds and has a scar on her hip and her left eye. Anyone who has spotted her is asked to call the number listed on the billboard (Image above).
