Texas – A six-year-old dog named Roxy is waiting patiently for someone to choose her. The homeless dog is being held at the Fort Worth Animal Care and Control where she has apparently been overlooked for quite some time.
On Thursday, Roxy’s advocate wrote:
I can’t believe she’s still waiting and overlooked. I’ve posted her many times. She came in as a stray on 4/29/2019, was reclaimed, and surrendered 9/7/21 for escaping.
Describing Roxy’s one and only shelter outing:
Feb was the first time she’s left the shelter. She went out for a couple of hours in an “out & about”. She finally went to a foster after that for a couple of weeks but had to come back because of fencing issues (and she chased chickens)
In addition to Roxy’s attributes:
She’s always being calm and was very easy to take in and out. She can double shake and likes to show it off. She’s such a good girl 🧡
Will you please help Roxy find a home? Please do NOT call the shelter. Find Roxy’s adoption profile here. Animal ID 41546559
