Many of the egregious conditions dogs have to endure in Arizona are legal, but nonetheless heartbreaking to the point of tears. Sky Sanctuary Rescue in Scottsdale, rescued an eight-week-old puppy they found tethered to the car bumper on Wednesday, and when his owners went inside of their home for the evening, they pushed the puppy into a soiled crate leaving him outdoors regardless of the weather.

Out of desperation, the rescue organization purchased the puppy’s freedom for $263. She was worth every penny. Her new life started the moment she was rescued.

And another rescued pooch gets to start a new life; this dog’s name is Honeybee, and she was rushed to the organization’s partner veterinarian.

Honeybee needed relief from her ailments. He soon discovered many demodex mites + a secondary bacterial infection. And as her wounds healed, so did her soul. Honeybee is truly as sweet as can be.
