Video of a dog named Ziggy is breaking animal lovers’ hearts. The Labrador retriever mix was taken in at the Texas Pasadena Animal Control and Adoption facility in March and he is terrified. The video shows his entire body shaking, tail tightly tucked, and in so much fear that he cannot move.

One would hope that after some passage of time, Ziggy’s overwhelming fear would diminish…but he is still scared, months later. On May 20, the Pasadena Animal Advocates Facebook page wrote:

5/20 Update: He is still in the shelter
Sweet Ziggy is so scared. He needs out of the shelter! Please there must be a Rescue or foster out there that can help him. He is a very sweet and gentle guy. Ziggy loosens up and stops shaking when he is around other friendly dogs so it would be best for him to go to a home with a dog pal.

Ziggy needs to feel safe and loved. He needs out of the shelter and into a home. Please take a moment to share his adoption information.
