In Gray, Georgia, Scooter came into Jones County Animal Services as a stray. The shelter staff were pleased the adorable little pup was microchipped and quickly reached out to his owners.

The response, or rather the lack of response, has been troubling and disappointing.

… we have tried to make contact with owners but have been hung up on several times with no returned phone calls, and messages have been left.

Scooter is estimated to be about seven years old, and his stray hold has now expired. This sweet little one begs for attention. Wouldn’t it be a perfect way for someone looking for a special dog to start New Year 2023? And just think how happy you could make Scooter.
