An elderly dog, who is sight-impaired and in poor health, is in need of assistance. The 12-year-old dog, named Lizzy, is at the South Los Angeles Shelter and she is so frightened that she has to be sedated in order to be examined by veterinary staff.
Her medical notes read:
MEDICAL/NOTES: Medical Condition: Medical alert—Geriatric, chronic skin, dental disease, ocular disease (bilateral cherry eye, and sight impaired), multiple mammary tumors. Caution with dog.
1/28/2022 – Has behavior issues (is very nervous, will try to bite, had to be sedated to fully examine).
Lizzy is old, scared, and in poor health. Is there anyone out there who wants to help her?
