She may not be picture-perfect, but she deserves to be loved

A young dog being held at a busy, California animal shelter is patiently waiting for someone to choose her. The two-year-old Boston terrier may not be “perfect,” but she is very much deserving of love and a home of her own.

The dog, known by her ID#A5472233, has been at the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center since April 11 – the day that she was picked up as a stray. It is apparent that this young girl has not led an easy life, and she is suffering from a skin condition that leaves her fur sparse. She has a noticeable underbite, but none of those things matter as she does her best to catch someone’s eye and show them that she is beautiful inside and out.
