Rocky watches everyone walk by his kennel and wonders why a year later no one wants him

At the Humane Society for Hamilton County (Indiana), Rocky has been waiting for a home for 363 days. As he watches everyone walk by his kennel at the shelter, he just doesn’t understand why no one wants to adopt him?

Rocky’s long term foster family has made a donation towards continuing training so Rocky can become the best canine citizen he can be.

Hi there, my name is Rocky! Yes, as in Balboa. And just like him, I’m everyone’s favorite underdog who will work as hard as I can to win your heart. I’ve been at the shelter now for over a year, just waiting to meet my new family. It makes me sad that I’ve been here so long (*insert puppy dog eyes*), but the good news is – I’ve gotten in some great training time at Paws & Play! I’m a super smart doggo that already knows how to “Sit”, “Shake”, “Lay Down”, “Drop It” and “Leave It”.

Rocky is described as an easy-going and affectionate pooch. He loves treats, stuffed animal toys, car rides and cuddling under the covers in bead. It’s best if his humans avoid sudden movements, loud noises, bikes and skateboards because they scare Rocky.

Of prime importance to Rocky is to be in a home with people over the age of 16 and to be the only pet in the home.
