A rescue organization in Raleigh, North Carolina, is hoping to find the perfect home for a perfectly imperfect dog named Freddy. Freddy is both visually and hearing impaired, and described as a “goofy” sweetheart. On December 15, his rescuers, Perfectly Imperfect Pups (PIPS), wrote:

Everyone who meets Freddy tells us how amazing, goofy, and fun he is. He’s such a special boy, but he’s been with us for a long time. Freddy is vision and hearing challenged, but he gets around that just fine!

On December 30, PIPS wrote of their dismay that Freddy had still not been adopted:

This handsome hunk is hangin’ out with a new foster for a few days and he is in heaven 😍 Freddy has been with PIPs for awhile and to be honest, we don’t know why. Who cares that he is blind and deaf – he plays, eats, sleeps and cuddles like any other dog. He learns a bit different but HE LEARNS! He is very smart; he learned how to walk on a leash and how to sit very quickly. We have many volunteers in the rescue that can help any adopter learn what life with a blind and deaf dog is like – it’s really not all that different (but we are here to support you either way).

Someone out there is just right for Freddy, the trick is to find that person. You can help by sharing Freddy’s adoption information! You can find Freddy’s profile through PIPS at this link.
