An overly friendly dog, named Nala, recenty slipped her collar and went on an adventure, winding up in a stranger’s home and ultimately, right in their bed. The humerous tale was recounted last week on social media by Nala’s owners, who said:
Our overly friendly pup, Nala, has hit an all time record for ignoring personal space and added yet another trick to her long list of houdini acts. She slipped her collar yesterday while being walked, ran down the street to a neighbors house, somehow managed to get IN their house, and climbed into bed with them in the middle of the night.
According to Nala’s owner, the couple has three of their own dogs (who, oddly enough didn’t react to the strange canine that entered their house) and they did not realize that the dog snuggling in their bed wasn’t their own until the sun came up. After finding the mystery dog in their home, the couple tried to find her owner via social media – a screenshot of their version of the strange encounter can be found below.
Sweet Nala was picked up by her owner, who was grateful for the couple’s kindness and sense of humor. She said:
