‘Mojito’ was terrified in the shelter but even a little bit of love helps a broken heart

Mojito was terrified at the Wakulla County Animal Shelter in Florida last week after she was had been caught in a trap behind the Dollar General on Crawfordville Highway. Very scared and nervous, the young dog crawled into the corner of her shelter cage and tried her best to disappear.

Just a few days later, a compassionate volunteer took Mojito for a walk in order to bond and build some trust with her. No one had even inquired about her, nor had there been any offers to foster or adopt.

She’s sweet, she’s scared/nervous, but she’s a good girl …. she’s broken… but most of all she needs our community to help her find a forever home … let’s do what we do best and save another life y’all.
