An injured dog being held at a Houston, Texas, animal shelter is in need of medical rescue. The four-year-old dog, ID#A593429, was shot over 50 times and is believed to have been run over. The shelter is hoping to find a rescue group to take him in, explaining the extent of his injuries:

“Someone deliberately shot this poor dog over 50 times and was possibly ran over! They shattered his left elbow and fractured his right pelvis. He has over 50 shotgun pellets lodge throughout his body. He is an unaltered male dog who was living off the streets of Houston for over a month

Adding:

He is very underweight and came in with a heavy thick dirty old collar and so he probably belonged to someone at one point. He is able to walk but his not very stable. We have him on pain management but he will need a consultation with an orthopedic surgeon to see what the process and cost would be to fix. He is extremely urgent since we do not have the resources that he needs. He came in as a stray but can leave immediately with a medical rescue group”

This dog has been abused, neglected, and thrown away, but he still wants to live, and most assuredly, he deserves to.

Please share this dog’s information to help him find the help that he needs.
