A local activist in China sent out a lifesaving tip leading to the rescue of 22 dogs doomed to be slaughtered at an illegal China slaughterhouse on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Humane Society International, during the 17-hour rescue operation, all of the dogs were saved. The dogs are now being examined by veterinarians and will remain under the care of VShine Animal Protection, an animal protection agency acting as part of an alliance with Asia Animal Coalition which includes Humane Society International.

The dogs will remain at VShine’s shelter until they recover and are ready to be adopted.

Watching the video the dogs didn’t look like the typical dog meat farm dogs they looked like family dogs that had been stolen. Glad they were saved.
