A helpless, four-month-old shepherd puppy was found lying alone in a field in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas; one of the worst areas in the country for abandoned stray and injured animals. S.N.A.R.R. Animal Rescue Northeast stepped up to help and has transported the puppy, named Fallon, to an emergency specialist in New York City for cervical surgery after her radiographs revealed neurological damage likely caused by being struck by a vehicle.

Fallon was found by a Good Samaritan who spotted the puppy unable to walk properly. She appeared dizzy and disoriented; her head was tilted and she continued to fall down. The Good Samaritan reached out for help and even though S.N.A.R.R. is financially strapped, they were her last hope.

Further physical evaluation shows a fracture in her neck; hampering her ability to maintain her balance and walk properly.

Time was of the essence to get her to NY and to our specialty hospital. We paid $1200 for someone to immediately drive her all the way from Texas to NY and now we are headed to the hospital. With things like this, the longer we wait the more likely the chances of permanent paralysis from nerve damage in the upper spine. Fallon NEEDS YOU TODAY !!!Please!! Every penny helps us provide the best medical care to Fallon. As long as they are willing to fight… we will fight right along with them…. But we need your help! Her surgeries and treatments are going to be pricey!! Please help us give Fallon a happy future!
