A senior dog is heartbroken and confused after being surrendered to an animal shelter in Houston, Texas. On Thursday, the Houston Save Lives Facebook page posted a short video of the 11-year-old dog, whose name is Brandy, explaining how she wound up homeless.

How hard must be for her to be in such a loud environment and all her world changed!..is stressing really bad there, PLEASE SHARE! this is what shelter says: “This sweet girl was recently surrender after her owner passed away. She is listed as an American staffy with long pointy ears who is approximately 11 years old, spayed, heartworm positive. She lived with a small chihuahua, is housetrained, and shy around new people. We would love for her to leave with a rescue group who could spoil her and find her forever home”
