Heartbreaking ‘FF05’ feeling trapped and terrified has final deadline today at Kansas shelter

At the Wichita Animal Shelter in Kansas, “FF05” now faces her final walk down the lonely hall leading to the euthanasia room. She originally passed her evaluations for transfer to the Kansas Humane Society and the adoption floor. She had been shy, but tolerated being handled and was scheduled for her spaying surgery, but as her fear escalated in the noisy and scary shelter, FF05 started to growl, air snapped and barked as she was exiting her shelter cage.

Just days ago, volunteers from Beauties and Beasts, Inc. met FF05, and she broke everyone’s heart as it was apparent she felt trapped and alone and had reacted the only way she knew.

This video shows just how scared she is, trembling, groaning, paw lifting, etc. She was given some space and eventually came out of the kennel on her own. We took her outside to see if she could relax at all as she is on a short deadline (Video 2 in comments) and video 3 will melt your hearts like it did ours. This poor girl is so confused and needs a savior!
